Program Description

Your Chef and Caterer operates an SMS messaging program ("Program") to support booking inquiries and communications between clients and the private chefs, caterers, and food service providers listed on our platform. The Program is operated by Your Chef and Caterer (the "Program Sponsor").

How to Opt In

You opt in to receive SMS messages from the Program by voluntarily submitting your mobile phone number through one of the following:

• Submitting a booking inquiry form on a chef's site (e.g., https://<chef>.yourchefandcaterer.com/book) or our embeddable widget after affirmatively checking the SMS consent checkbox.
• Submitting an inquiry through our consumer directory at yourchefandcaterer.com/find.
• Registering as a chef at yourchefandcaterer.com/onboard and enabling SMS notifications.

Consent to receive SMS is never a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Types of Messages

Once opted in, you may receive transactional SMS messages related to your inquiry or account, including:

• For clients: Confirmation that your booking inquiry was received and follow-up communication from the chef about your event.
• For chefs: Lead alerts when a new inquiry is submitted, and platform notifications related to your account.

The Program is transactional. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS through this Program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on booking and inquiry activity. You will typically receive messages only in response to a specific inquiry or event.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for each message sent or received, depending on your plan. Contact your wireless provider for details.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation message and will not send you any additional messages unless you opt back in. If you want to opt back in, reply START or submit a new inquiry form.

Supported Carriers

The Program is available on most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We do not sell your phone number or share it for marketing purposes. Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We maintain records of consent including the phone number, date/time of consent, method of consent (web form submission), and IP address at the time of consent.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide to enroll in the Program.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify or cancel the Program or its terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS or on this page. Continued use of the Program after changes constitutes acceptance.
